Position Summary 

The Regional Provider Lead is a senior clinical leadership role responsible for overseeing Provider Leads within an assigned region. This role serves as a key leadership bridge between Provider Leads and the Director of Clinical Operations, with a focus on leadership development, regional consistency, territory management, and operational execution. 

The RPL maintains a limited clinical presence while dedicating the majority of time to supporting, coaching, and developing Provider Leads and strengthening Bloom’s leadership infrastructure. 

Time Allocation 

• ~80% leadership and operational responsibilities 

• ~20% patient-facing clinical work 

• No individual patient panel 

• One day per week providing floating clinical oversight within the region 

Key Responsibilities 

• Directly oversee and support Provider Leads within the assigned region 

• Hire, onboard, and train new Provider Leads in partnership with Clinical Ops and People Operations 

• Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to Provider Leads 

• Serve as an escalation point for complex clinical, operational, or personnel issues 

• Ensure consistency in clinical standards, workflows, and culture across teams 

• Support staffing continuity, including backfilling the RPL’s former Provider Lead role 

• Collaborate cross-functionally to support regional and organizational priorities 

Qualifications 

• MD, PA, or NP with strong clinical and leadership experience 

• Prior experience as a Provider Lead or equivalent clinical leadership role 

• Ability to lead through complexity, prioritize effectively, and support others 

• Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills 

• Alignment with Bloom’s mission and commitment to patient-centered care

The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. The pay range for this role in the state of Colorado typically falls between $140,000 to $155,000 annually with the potential for performance-based bonuses and other benefits. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and location within the state.
