Position Overview: Bloom Healthcare is looking for a motivated Manager of Medicare Value-Based Programs to oversee the daily operations of our Medicare Accountable Care Organization (ACO) and contribute to initiatives focused on enhancing care coordination, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement. This role will manage relationships within our preferred provider network, ensure smooth model operations, and help to implement new Medicare value-based care models, including the GUIDE dementia model. The ideal candidate will have a background in healthcare operations or policy, along with strong analytical and communication skills. Working closely with senior leadership, this role will help leverage data insights to improve patient outcomes, cost efficiency, and care strategies, supporting Bloom’s ACO model.
Responsibilities:
ACO Model Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of the ACO while ensuring compliance with all Medicare regulatory and reporting requirements.
Preferred Provider Network Management: Manage relationships with preferred providers, ensuring strong partnerships and close care coordination across the ACO network.
New Model Operations: Support development and implementation of operations for Bloom’s newest Medicare value-based care model, such as the GUIDE dementia model, ensuring seamless integration into existing ACO processes.
Policy Analysis and Research: Conduct ongoing analysis of healthcare policies, regulations, and industry trends to support strategic planning and compliance efforts.
Communications and Content Development: Draft and refine key communications materials, including letters, website content, and reports. Create clear, effective presentations for diverse audiences, including internal leadership, partners, and external stakeholders, to convey ACO performance, strategies, and initiatives.
Data-Driven Improvement: Collaborate with the Senior Director of Population Health and Chief Medical Officer to analyze ACO data and identify opportunities for improvement in patient outcomes, cost efficiency, and care delivery.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree (Masters degree in public health, policy, or health administration preferred)
Minimum of 2-3 years in healthcare operations or policy. Expertise in Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), value-based care, or population health management preferred.
Strong analytical skills with experience using healthcare data to identify opportunities for improvement, optimize operations, and achieve better patient outcomes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience drafting formal materials and delivering presentations to diverse audiences.
Proven ability to manage special projects, develop new care models, and implement creative solutions to complex operational challenges.

The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. The pay range for this role in the state of Colorado typically falls between $95,000 and $120,000 annually with the potential for performance-based bonuses and other benefits. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and location within the state.
