Position Profile
We are seeking a skilled, reliable Phlebotomist to support mobile lab collection across our patient population. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, managing their own daily route, and delivering high-quality patient care in the field.
Phlebotomist Responsibilities:
The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. The pay range for this role in the state of Colorado typically falls at $20.00-25.00 with the potential for performance-based bonuses and other benefits. Position Profile
We are seeking a skilled, reliable Phlebotomist to support mobile lab collection across our patient population. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, managing their own daily route, and delivering high-quality patient care in the field.
Phlebotomist Responsibilities:
- Perform blood draws in patient homes, assisted living communities, and other residential settings
- Ensure accurate patient identification, labeling, and specimen handling
- Prepare, store, and transport specimens according to protocol
- Manage daily schedule and travel between patient locations
- Communicate effectively with clinical teams regarding lab orders and completion
- Maintain supply inventory and ensure readiness for daily routes
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Phlebotomy certification (CPT, RPT, or equivalent) or relevant experience.
- 1+ year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Strong venipuncture skills (including difficult draws).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solution driven, creative and resourceful problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage time well and perform assigned duties with attention detail, accuracy and follow-through.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Valid driver's license.
